Privacy Policy

1.1This Privacy Policy explains how Master Set Builder LLC ("we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use mastersetbuilder.com, the Collection Tracker and related services (the "Services"). Master Set Builder LLC is the controller of this information.

1.2This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions.

2.1Account information. Your email address, name, profile details and sign-in information. If you register a passkey, your device keeps the private key and we store only the corresponding public key credential.

2.2Order information. The items you buy, your shipping address, shipping method, order totals, tax, promotional codes and payment status.

2.3Checkout agreement record. The date and time you agreed to our Terms & Conditions at checkout, and the version you agreed to.

2.4Collection and wishlist data. The cards, sets, conditions and quantities you track or import.

2.5Communications. Messages you send us, such as support emails.

2.6Technical information. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar information collected automatically to run, secure and measure the Services.

3.1We use personal information to: (a) provide your account and the Collection Tracker; (b) process, ship and support orders; (c) calculate shipping and sales tax; (d) detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; (e) maintain and improve the Services; (f) communicate with you about your account and orders; and (g) meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3.2We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it.

4.1We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, and only as needed for the purposes below:

4.2We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of Master Set Builder LLC, our customers or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

5.1We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and display preferences, and protect forms from bots through Cloudflare Turnstile.

5.2We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic, such as page views, referrers and device types. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

5.3You can clear cookies and storage in your browser. Doing so may sign you out and reset some preferences.

6.1We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:

1. Account and Collection Data: while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to close your account, apart from limited backup copies that expire on their normal cycle;
2. Orders, payments, tax and checkout agreement records: for seven years after the order, to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements;
3. Support communications: up to three years after the last contact;
4. Security and server logs: generally no longer than 90 days, unless needed to investigate an incident.

7.1Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and similar state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you may have the right to: (a) confirm whether we process your personal information and access it; (b) correct inaccuracies; (c) delete it; (d) get a portable copy; and (e) opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising or profiling. We do not sell personal information or engage in targeted advertising or profiling.

7.2How to make a request. Email support@mastersetbuilder.com with the subject "Privacy Request," stating the right you want to exercise. We will verify your identity, usually by confirming control of your account email, and respond within 45 days. Where permitted by law, we may extend this by an additional 45 days and will tell you if we do. Requests are free, up to twice a year.

7.3Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We may ask for proof of the agent's authority and verify your identity directly.

7.4Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General or your state's attorney general.

7.5Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8.1The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information to us should contact support@mastersetbuilder.com.

9.1We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. These include encryption in transit, access controls, passkey support and bot protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9.2If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law, including the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act.

10.1We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision. If we make material changes, we will give notice on the Services or by email.
